Established in October 2022 with registered capital of RMB 30 million, Tianhesheng Isotopes is headquartered at No. 18 Gangcang South Road, Nangang Industrial Zone, Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area. The company focuses on two main product lines:

  • Nuclear-grade boron-10 enriched boric acid: Boron-10 isotopic enrichment ≥99%, with a design capacity of approximately 10 metric tons per year, according to publicly available environmental impact assessment documents.

  • Electronic-grade boron-11 trifluoride: Boron-11 isotopic enrichment ≥99.8%, with a design capacity of approximately 5 metric tons per year, according to the same documents.

These enrichment values refer to the proportion of the specified boron isotope. Chemical purity, impurity limits and delivery specifications are subject to the company’s product technical documentation.

Proprietary Chemical-Exchange Distillation for Continuous Boron Isotope Separation

Tianhesheng Isotopes uses an independently developed chemical-exchange distillation process for boron isotope separation and continuous production. The technology has been granted a Chinese invention patent, CN116688756B, titled “A Process Method for Continuous Production through Boron Isotope Separation.”

Building on this separation technology, the company continues to develop proprietary, standardized production of boron-10 and boron-11 materials to support downstream applications.

Semiconductor, Nuclear Power and Medical Research Applications

The company’s products and R&D activities target semiconductor ion implantation, nuclear reactor control materials, pharmaceutical intermediates for boron neutron capture therapy (BNCT), and quantum computing research. Medical-related applications concern pharmaceutical intermediates and research uses, with suitability determined by product specifications and downstream requirements.
