On October 27, 2023, the first Stable Isotope Closed-Door Academic Conference hosted by THS Isotope was successfully held in Tianjin Economic and Technological Development Zone. Nearly 100 people, including representatives of upstream and downstream enterprises in the domestic stable isotope industry chain, experts and scholars in the isotope industry, were invited to attend. The conference brought together advantageous resources from all parties, built a platform for technical exchanges and cooperative development, and contributed to the promotion of high-quality development of the stable isotope industry.

At the meeting, the leaders of the Economic and Technological Development Zone government thanked the participants for their all-round support for THS Isotope and placed high hopes on the future development of the project. The stable isotope industry occupies the forefront of science and technology, with extremely high technical content and huge research and development difficulties. Faced with a major change that has not been seen in a century, the Economic and Technological Development Zone government encourages and will fully support the stable isotope industry to climb to the top, enhance the resilience and safety level of the industrial chain and supply chain, and contribute to new industrialization and manufacturing power.

Previously, the production technology of Boron isotope was mainly in the hands of American companies. Due to the outbreak of the Sino-US trade dispute, the US Department of Commerce explicitly banned the export of Boron isotope products to my country in 2019 in accordance with the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. This has a serious impact on the production of advanced process chips and panels in my country and the economic and stable operation of the third-generation nuclear power. The technological breakthrough achieved by THS Isotope at this critical node is even more precious.

THS Isotope shareholder representatives believe that the prosperity of the country and the prosperity of the people must rely on the power of science and technology. China is undergoing a major transformation stage of economic transformation and industrial structure adjustment. We must do our best to promote the growth of high-tech companies and the integration of industrial chain resources, thereby promoting the development of national productivity.

Subsequently, industry experts and scholars and our representatives gave theme reports on "stable isotope industry market information", "isotope separation and preparation", "isotope downstream product research and development", "localization process of isotope detection instruments", etc., and carried out in-depth exchanges to jointly gather wisdom and provide advice and empowerment for industrial development.

Taking this opportunity, Harbin Engineering University formally signed a cooperation agreement with us at the meeting. In the future, the two sides will further deepen school-enterprise cooperation and actively carry out research and development of downstream applications of stable isotopes. We also announced that before October 2024, we will allocate a total of 1 million special research and development funds for school-enterprise cooperation, continue to face the major needs of the country, deepen the cross-disciplinary integration, and accelerate the implementation and transformation of stable isotope research results in important fields.

Since its establishment in 2022, the company's Boron isotope product project has been included in the key projects of Tianjin and won the honorary title of Tianjin Science and Technology Small and Medium Enterprises. The THS Isotope R&D Center and Production Base Project, which landed in TEDA in May this year, is being accelerated. After completion, THS Isotope will form a development pattern integrating isotope research and development and manufacturing in the Economic Development Zone, and actively attract upstream and downstream enterprises to enter the zone to promote the chain development of the regional isotope industry.

In addition, we will take the lead in establishing an isotope property sharing database to drive basic research and technology development research; build a stable isotope separation technology research and development and test platform to promote the implementation and transformation of results. The main person in charge of THS Isotope said that he hopes to take the first closed-door academic conference on stable isotopes as an opportunity to give full play to the advantages of the green petrochemical industry in the Economic and Technological Development Zone and the benchmark demonstration of THS Isotopes, help the Economic and Technological Development Zone build a stable isotope industry cluster, and promote the localization process of the isotope industry.
